Dehonian Long-distance Adoption - what is it?
It's a form of development aid that involves collective patronage of children from poor regions of the world. This adoption is not an adoption in the traditional sense, as the assisted children remain in their environment and receive support from afar.
The main goal of Dehonian Long-distance Adoption is to provide children from poor regions with access to education, health care and often basic necessities of life, such as food and clothing. The project aims to provide material assistance, as well as give them a chance for a better future through education and personal development.
Collective nature
Dehonian Long-distance Adoption is collective in nature, which means that we donate funds to maintain entire institutions: centers for the blind (school + boarding school) in India and Rwanda, two orphanages in Bolivia and a center for girls in the Philippines.
Adoptive Parents not only fund the children's schooling, but also their full upkeep: food, clothing, extra-curricular activities, medical care, including psychological care. Each Donor receives a letter and photo from a child 3 times a year, representing the entire care facility. This child is not singled out in any way in the educational process.
For those who wish to undertake regular payments, please write in the title of the transfer: Adoption + its name - permanent declaration.

We set the minimum donation amount for Adoptive Parents at 12 $/€ per month for at least 12 months. Higher amounts of support depend only on your generosity and financial capabilities.
1. Do I have to transfer money every month?
It is not necessary to make monthly transfers. Donations can be made quarterly, once every six months, or even for the entire year in advance.
If we receive an offering of 144 $/€ or more, such a case is treated as taking up adoption (12 months x 12 $/€ = 144 $/€). Therefore, we send a photo and correspondence of the child. However, this is not a commitment to continue adoption in the following year.
2. How do I opt out of adoption?
After 12 months, we do not need to be informed of either the extension of the adoption or its termination. We do not mutually sign any contracts.
3. Can I donate only one-time support?
We would also appreciate one-time contributions for children undergoing adoptions. In this case, please write the name of the supported project in the title of the transfer.
