“I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.” (Luke 2:10, KJ21). We forward Christmas greetings from the Secretary for Foreign Missions.
Dear Friends of the Dehonian Missions!
Another joyful celebration of the birth of God's Son is upon us! This time is an opportunity to emphasize the bonds between people, and it is also a period filled with reflection, tranquillity, and a joyful, family atmosphere of love and forgiveness...
On this day, so widely celebrated, people's hearts burn with love and gratitude for the Creator. “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a SAVIOR, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:10-11, KJ21)
As I reach out to you at this time, I would like to express my personal wish that the true Light that illuminated the night in Bethlehem may be reflected in your lives, enlivening your work, your family time, and your service to God.
May this proximity to Him be the foundation of the community and friendship that we, as Priests of the Sacred Heart, form with our Benefactors and Friends of the Missions. May it open your hearts and motivate you to be good in this world, into which the newborn Christ arrives.
During this time, as priests and employees of the Secretariat for Foreign Missions of the Priests of the Sacred Heart, we will remember you and your intentions, hoping that our spiritual bond will continue… The angels sing for us above the stable in Bethlehem: “Glory to God in the highest and peace to his people on earth”.
Keeping you in my prayers, I wish you all God's blessing!
