Now you can find out by playing “The Bell Over the Luangwa” – our first interactive game, in which you step into the role of a paramedic beginning their first shift at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Mission Hospital in Katondwe. Over the course of approximately 20 minutes, you will make decisions, respond to unfolding events, and discover the stories of patients arriving at the hospital.

20 Minutes That Let You See More
Katondwe is located in eastern Zambia, in the Luangwa River Valley, far from major roads and urban centers. The mission hospital operating there for more than 60 years is the only hospital of its kind in the entire Luangwa District. It treats, among others, children suffering from malaria and severe anemia, women requiring urgent care during childbirth, accident victims, and people injured in encounters with wild animals.
In these challenging conditions, medical staff make decisions every day that can directly affect the lives and health of their patients. “The Bell Over the Luangwa” offers players a chance to experience this reality from their perspective, even if only for a moment.
