During the Easter season, we wish to share with you the joy that springs from the empty tomb – the joy of hope, peace, and life’s victory over death.
Rejoice, O earth, bathed in such extraordinary radiance...
Dear Donors and Friends of the Dehonian Missions!
On this joyful day of the Lord’s Resurrection, we offer our gratitude to God, who fills the earth with the extraordinary radiance of Easter morning.
The Risen Jesus brings us a message of peace. It is He, speaking the words “Peace be with you,” who reveals Himself as risen, glorified, and alive. Through His presence, He brings true peace, offering comfort and hope to a world torn by conflict.
During this time, which is so joyful for every believer, we wish to strengthen one another with the hope that was shared by the women and the disciples of Jesus when they experienced His presence anew – when they saw Him transcend the laws of time and space, passing through a closed door, so that they might believe.
Surely many of us, facing the challenges of daily life, carry the cross – moments of doubt and uncertainty. Yet when, on Easter morning, the cry “Alleluia! Jesus lives!” resounds, these words bring solace to our troubled hearts and souls. They fill us with hope for the future, bring peace, and strengthen our trust in God.
During this holy season, we wish to extend our wishes for peace to one another. We especially wish it for those experiencing the cruelty of war in Ukraine, Iran, and throughout the Middle East. Christ, who conquered death, assures us that His peace can be lasting; we need only believe…
On behalf of the priests and staff of the Secretariat for Foreign Missions of the Priests of the Sacred Heart, I wish to extend my most sincere wishes for peace to all of you. May the message flowing from the empty tomb, which transforms human hearts, take root in your homes and families.
Let us pray together that everyone – in Poland and beyond its borders – may come to believe that a life of peace with God and with others is possible. Moreover, that each of us can build such divine peace around us. May the coming days be a time of joy and peace for you and your loved ones – a peace that only He can give.
Thank you for your generous support of our missionary work – for every prayer, gift, and gesture of solidarity, through which we can bring aid and the message of the Gospel to the farthest corners of the earth.
May the mystery of the empty tomb strengthen your faith, renew your spiritual strength, and remind you that love is stronger than death, and that the good we do has value that transcends the temporal.
In my personal prayer, I wish to remember everyone who supports the missionary works of our congregation materially and spiritually. I cordially invite you to continue building a missionary community around our secretariat and to keep caring for the missionaries and all the poor and needy in mission countries.
May Christ give you strength in difficulties, faith in moments of doubt, and the joy that comes from being His disciple. May He Himself multiply the good you do for your neighbors every day.
Alleluia! Christ is risen!
In the joy of Easter
