A car for Dehonians in Angola

Thanks to funds from the “The means of transport for missionaries” project, in October we supported the purchase of an off-road car for the Dehonians working in Angola. We donated €20,000 for this purpose.

Dehonians have been present in Angola for a relatively short time (about 20 years), but their missionary work is appreciated there, and they are already celebrating their first local vocations – several students are preparing for the priesthood.

The vehicle was purchased in October 2024 for the community in the Diocese of Viana, located in the southern part of the Angolan capital, Luanda. The mission is led by confreres from Portugal, Italy, and Angola. The car will be used both by priests who have previously had trouble accessing some mission stations located in difficult-to-access areas, and for transporting people when necessary.

We would like to thank the entire network of benefactors from Poland who supported this gesture of solidarity! We thank you very much, and may the good Lord reward you with peace and joy for the opportunity to collaborate in establishing the Kingdom of the Heart of Jesus in souls and societies. God bless you!
